One of the most architecturally ambitious residential projects in the Conscious Forms portfolio — a Shoreditch open-plan kitchen where the polished concrete worktop continues seamlessly into an integrated stair podium. The entire assembly was cast in a single in-situ pour, making it a true piece of functional sculpture.

This project demonstrates the design freedom that cast in-situ concrete unlocks. Rather than being limited to a flat surface within predefined dimensions, the concrete flows from kitchen worktop to architectural feature — a reminder that at its best, concrete is not a worktop material but a medium for spatial design.
