Homerton Cast In-Situ Concrete Kitchen Island & Worktops
This East London project in Homerton featured both a run of cast in-situ polished concrete kitchen worktops and a matching freestanding concrete kitchen island — all cast as one continuous poured project by Conscious Forms.
The island became the centrepiece of the open-plan space, with a cantilevered bar overhang for seating. The seamless concrete surface wraps around the island with no visible joints, showcasing one of the key advantages of in-situ casting over pre-fabricated alternatives.
