| Conscious Forms is a London based design studio run by Junior Phipps. Junior studied 3d design then went on to complete an MA in Furniture Design before leaving Buckinghamshire College in 1997. He set up his practice after working independently for a several years as a freelance designer and Lecturer in 3d Design. The company was set up to produce limited editions, one-offs and small batches of lighting and furniture products, by commission and under their own brand. Junior’s emphasis is on the design and making of exquisitely crafted pieces of sculptural furniture and products that allow elements of user interaction by introducing integral ingredients of adjustability and tactility.
Conscious Forms are currently producing a range of
interior/exterior products that celebrates concrete.
Working predominantly with architects, interior
and gardens designers to create bespoke
objects of desire. |
